Certainly not "Gourmet" fare, but a really Q&E great "down-home" comfort dessert. Plus it's fun to play "guess the mystery ingredient". I have used either a confectioners sugar or a cream cheee frosting..both are good. Servings depend on how large you cut the bars

Something different...I love it!! Very nice taste and texture. Wonderful array of spices. The only thing I did differently was to add some chopped walnuts (about 1/2 cup)...oh, and my pan was also like 11x7 - so baking was a bit longer. To me they were somewhat reminiscent of a pumpkin cake (which I adore)...I was only able to share "the secret ingredient" with my husband (who nothing surprises) so I can not wait to make them again for others. YUMMY... Tomato soup!? :) (LOL)...dare I say it(???)..."UM-UM GOOD"!!! :)

  1. Mix all ingredients and pour into a greased and floured 16 x 20-inch pan.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.
