I had everything fresh from the garden just TONS of small re cherry and yellow pear tomatoes along with fresh oregano and basil. I added red shallots just picked and dried and a diced green pepper too for good measure. Excellent!!

So quick and so delicious. Fresh tomatoes is definitely a plus and if you have fresh basil, that really adds to the flavor. This was made using about 1/2 the oil called for, fresh basil and freshly ground salt and pepper. It was allowed to stand at room temperature and then served on a bed of shredded Romaine.

I asked my husband to rate this since I made it for him. Very quick to put together and very much appreciated by him. That's a winner for us. :>
