Tomato, Macaroni and Cheese (Mac and Cheese)

A different macaroni and cheese side dish that my family enjoys. Add more tomatoes if you like or more cheese. I even like this cold.
Directions:

Combine macaroni, tomatoes, onion powder, salt, pepper and 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese.

Pour into a greased 13x9 pan.

Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 15 minutes.

Top with remaining cheese and bake until cheese is melted.

If it weren't for the cheese I'd say the flavour was almost non-existent. The amount of cheese called for in this recipe saved it for sure as we're cheese lovers. This is super quick and easy to throw together, but I'd say it's more of a base recipe with more veggies and spices needed to make it a whole meal. DH loves pasta and tomatoes though so he'd eat this happily everyday
