  1. This was a very tasty recipe. I added a healthy squeeze of fresh lime juice to bring out the lime flavor. I had some left over so I heated it up and added some cooked jumbo peeled and deveined shrimp. I served it hot over fetticini pasta. Delish!!!! NO left overs then.

  2. This is a nice dip. I think I like it best with crackers. I like that it is a healthier dip alternative! Thanks for posting. :)

  3. flavorful! I used grape tomatoes in this one, and loved the lime and Tabasco! Made for Football Pool 2012

  4. Another hit from Mikekey! I honestly didn't think that the lime zest would add enough lime flavour but it really does. I used canned whole tomatoes that I diced and everything else as listed. I really like this dip and it tastes delicious with crackers - I had lentil crackers that were perfect for it! The grape tomatoes were really good with this too. Made for your week 3 win in the Football Pool. Thanks Mikekey! :)

  5. What an amazing dip! I really do think the tabasco sauce and the lime juice makes this dip what it is! I used low fat sour cream because I couldn't find the sour cream substitute. It was still really good, and it does make for good leftovers!

Tweaks

  1. First rate! Love the zip from the Tabasco! I used drained Rotel instead of just stewed tomatoes and fresh dill since I had some. With all the flavors happening, you would never guess that the sour cream is fat-free. Thanks for posting your recipe! I will enjoy it many times over.
