Manda, as I sit here eating this delicious pasta salad I will tell you that this recipe is excellent! So very easy to make and so very full of flavor! I do love a good pasta salad and this is one of the best, most refreshing ones I have tried. This would be great for a picnic, summertime supper or even as a quick lunch the next day! Could very easily be packed into a lunch to take along. Thank you for submitting this wonderful recipe, Manda! I will definitely be making this one again!

I have made this pasta salad about 5 times now and think it is absolutely wonderful. It is very easy to make and quite delicious. I like using flavored oils such as garlic or hot peppers. I also add a couple more tablespoons of oil. To spice it up a bit I like to finely mince a jalapeno and add it in too.

Delicious. I left the Parmesan cheese out so people could add or omit and everyone loved it, even my toddler wanted more. Thanks so much for a great recipe.

This recipe is outstanding! Perfect for summer time because it's so light and fresh. I added some sauteed, cubed zucchini and used garlic powder because I was out of fresh. Still wonderful!

This salad is very fresh-tasting. Great way to use juicy summer tomatoes. I added a splash of red wine vinegar because I felt it needed it and a bit more parmesan, but other than that I followed the recipe. Next time I go on a picnic, I will be taking this salad. Thanks for the recipe.

This pasta was pretty nice for a BBQ. It tasted a little bland to me. I brought it to a going away party and I heard someone say they really liked it. It was gone by the end, so that must be a good sign. Followed the recipe exactly, but I might add some more salt/pepper next time and maybe some grated mozzarella instead of parmesan. Thanks

This was really good and great for the summer. I used only 1/4 cup olive oil and didn't measure the cheese. And next time I will use less tomatoes. Otherwise the garlic and basil leaves were great.

Wow! Seriously, this is a great recipe, just exactly what I hoped for. For us in the UK this tastes just the same as the M&S tomato and basil (but with chicken) one. I did change it a bit, I did an equal weight of tomatoes to pasta. I cooked the pasta while I was preparing the rest so it all marinated together. Just before serving I decided to add in a 50/50 tomato purée/mayonnaise mixed stirred it in, I just wanted to coat the pasta a bit more. We've just eaten this salad with our dinner tonight and it was absolutely immense. Love it! No need to buy the M&S version now.

Beware the salt! When I made this recipe, I cut the 3 teaspoons of salt down to 1 teaspoon, and I still feel it is a little heavy on the salt. It is a very wonderful light fresh summer salad though. Perfect for a hot summer evening. I made this recipe with some fresh basil from my garden. Besides cutting the salt down, I made a couple other modifications-I added garlic to the oil, and I added a small quartered sliced zucchini, raw. I also zested the lemon, to get some of the extra flavor and nutrients from the peel. It was delicious! A very versatile recipe. It could be made as is (aside from the salt), or add what ever additional ingredients you have in the garden or fridge, to spice it up.

Made half a recipe but used cherub tomatoes. This was simple but so good, the marinating really helps. I served with a grilled Italian stuffed burger.
