This is a simple salad that requires no salad dressing. I brought this to a dinner party and every one loved it. This has become my new favorite salad and it is so easy to make, and strays away from the traditional green salad.
- 2 cups tomatoes, diced
- 1⁄4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1 (2 1/4 ounce) cansliced black olives
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
- 1⁄4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- Add all ingredients in a medium serving bowl and toss.
This is a lovely salad. Fresh with summer ingredients. The feta cheese and basil are always a nice flavor combination, and the lemon juice gives them a boost of freshness. I used Black Pepper feta and it was a nice cheese to try in this salad. Thanks so much for posting a lovely recipe.
Very nice figure-frienly salad. Perfect for summer meal. We ate it with crusty warm garlic bread and grilled meat. Thank you.
Great tasting salad that is easy to make. I really enjoy the feta cheese. And the basil is always a refreshing addation to any salad. I prepared this for Christmas dinner this year. Casie, thank you for sharing this recipe.
