Oh gosh this was good! I used a red onion, one english cucumber, and the basil. Made in the morning to serve for dinner and the dressing was very yummy. Wish I had a garden to have the freshest veges but store bought worked nicely. Made and reviewed for ZWT 8 - 2012 The Fearless Red Dragons.

Superb salad -- easy-to-make, colourful and delicious. It really shows off garden produce. I diced the bell pepper and red onion, and didn't bother to peel the cucumber. I couldn't resist sneaking in a clove of garlic. The photos were taken before adding the herbs. Made for the Green, Eggs and Ham Tag Game.

Awesome! Vidalia onions are now in the store and as JQ said wonderful for this dish. I used a combination of orange and yellow tomatoes along with an English cucumber. Made this about 2 hours before dinner. Everyone loved it. Thanks!
