      I had 1/2 bag of choc. chips and only needed a small amount of cookies. DH and his work buddies LOVED them !!! Perfect recipe for just a few cookies !! Thanks for sharing !!

      Taste was on, but I used butter, and these were flat. Also, not much "stuff" in them. I would recommend shortening or solid margarine to keep them puffy, and would add a full bag of chips and/or nuts.

      Made these today w/ my DGD#1 and followed the recipe except, instead of choco chips, I added 1 1/2 c oatmeal and a 1/2 c raisins to make oatmeal raisin cookies. [Didn't have any choco chips on hand... :( ] I got 25 cookies and would have had a couple more if I could have kept the moochers from snitching samples of the dough. I was glad to find this recipe here b/c it's a good recipe... not too sweet and very tasty!

      This was the orignal Nestle's Toll House recipe and was it & is it AWESOME! It is impossible to make just one small batch! I have been baking these for eons and they still taste delicious. Thanks countrywife for sharing with the rest of us. Diane

      These should be named "OMG I Can Eat a Million" cookies. Been searching for the ones my Nana made and I have finally found it. I couldn't stop eating the batter!!! Had to double the recipe halfway through b/c there is no way 2 dz of these would last around here. THANK YOU very much for posting this recipe!
