Wonderfully moist cake and flavorful cake! I did the layer method and only cooked for about 32 minutes. I did find the frosting slightly too sweet so added about 1/4 cup of cocoa powder and a dash more of milk in the end. Everyone raved about this one!

My daughter loves cookie cakes, especially when her birthday rolls around. This year, I made this recipe for her birthday. Am I glad I did! It was the best cake I've ever made. I was so impressed with how much it resembled a real cookie cake, but in a real 2 layer cake form! The icing tastes just like my grandmother's homemade fudge recipe. This is a true winner cake!!! Thank you Realtor by day, Chef by night! You made her birthday so special!

I enjoyed the flavor and texture of this cake, however, next time, I'll remove it from the oven @ 45 minutes...I cooked it for 50 minutes in my Bundt pan, and it was probably done at 45 minutes. I never knew how much I depend on the 'stick test' for doneness :-) Now, I know! I shared this with friends and it was enjoyed by all! Thanks for sharing, Realtor!
