It just amazes me that folks deviate so much that it almost doesn't resemble the original recipe and yet they rate the recipe. Came across one or two in this section from long, long ago and found that to be a fact. I'm puzzled.. I loved this recipe as is, which in my opinion is the way it should be judged

We enjoyed this dish, but it was very soft and lacked that certain something. I plan to try adding more crunchy things next time I make it.

This was great!! Me and my husband are meat eaters, but did not miss the meat in this dish at all. I did not follow the recipe exactly, and instead of diced red pepper I added some red pepper flakes at the end. Delicious!! Will be making this again. Thanks for a great recipe.

I didn't have the spinach or snow peas but I used cabbage and red pepper and of course, onion and garlic. My dh said it was good but I thought it was great. I will definitely prepare it again.

Excellent! I loved it, but my kids didn't. Ah, well. It was very flavorful, and I enjoyed it with shoyu sauce.

This was really good! I didn't follow the measurements exactly though. I used your recipe as a reference and then winged it with a little teriyaki sauce and other veggies and it turned out great. I just didn't know how to incorporate the tofu. Thanks!

Awesome! I loved this recipe. Avid tofu fan myself. My husband ate this without knowing what it was & raved (he's a meat/potato man) Thanks!

Hey, this is delicious and I did a lot of things wrong (not because I was being sts ubborn but because I was sick)--nevertheless it tasted grand! I have "lived" on peanut butter sandwiches for quite a while now (only thing I could keep down) but I made a perfect hog of myself with this recipe. I made "Ridgeley's Rice" then fried it along with the veggies and when I put in the tofu I could hardly wait to try it, it smelled so good. I think the ginger in the recipe has largely healed me...as I am sure you know, ginger is very helpful in healing stomach problems. Thanks, it's really grand.

I've been doing this recipe for years. It's one of our favorite dishes. Two alternatives are also delicious. The first is to first freeze the cubed tofu, then thaw and fry. Freezing gives the tofu a fibrous, porous, and firmer texture. The second alternative is to marianate and fry the tofu in terriaki sauce. We usually double or tripple this recipe, as much as our extra large wok holds, refrigerate, and enjoy for several days, including as filling for omelets.

This was really good, even though I didn't follow the directions exactly. I didn't use wine or tofu, or spinach, but did use Chinese cabbage, celery, snow peas and onion. I served this with penne noodles and Crockpot Kowloon Chicken. Thanks!
