This is incredibly yummy and easy. Believe it or not, I served this over oatmeal and it was delicious. It reminded me of apple pie and I can imagine it would be incredible over ice cream. I threw a few walnuts into the mix at the end just for some added texture and flavor. It was plenty sweet for us; I used Fugi apples and followed the recipe exact. My apples never really browned, but they still came out looking very appetizing. I never would have thought to do anything like this; thanks so much for posting! (made for Zaar Tag)

July 2008 update: VERY happy to be back on Zaar after about a two year absence due to having had no internet connection at home, and having been too unwell for a time so that getting re-connected wasn't even a priority!

<br>And really looking forward to getting back into the Zaar world and connecting again with the many wonderful people I knew before, and new people, of course!
