Easy to make sauce for popcorn, or just use as a pouring sauce.

Directions

  1. Put butter, dark brown sugar and syrup into a pan; dissolve.
  2. Simmer for a few minutes until thicker, about 2 minutes approximately.
  3. Pour over popped popcorn or pour over ice cream, cake or fruit.

Perfect every time! It was really easy too. I was looking around for toffee sauce recipes but all of them required cream, which I didn't have. This recipe was like a dream come true. I added about 4 teaspoons of water because I like mine quite runny.
