I made this recipe on 1/28/10 for the " Afternoon Tea and Light Suppers 2010 ". I made the recipe as it was written, except I used all butter flavored shortening. After baking the first batch, I noticed the cookies spread alot so 1/4 more cup of flour was added to the remaining batter. After that they baked up just fine. The amount of cookies that I got were 3 1/2 dozen, but that's o.k. ( Just more to eat ;) ). I do think that the addition of the toffee and chocolate chips made this an extraordinary snickerdoodle.
