GREAT for the holidays - just yummy!
Perfect Almond Toffee! I always make at least 3 batches every year during the holidays. No one can stay out of it! I recommend using a pan larger than 9x9 as it needs more room to spread out. I used several different size pans this year and using the 9x9 pan made it too thick. KCShell
Easy to make and utterly delicious!
I have made something very similar for a few years and just had to try your version (very minor differences). Easy to make and just wonderful. Great for gifts - if there is any left! My DH's all time favorite for Christmas. I will be making lots more. Thanks for posting!
This was fairly easy to make, although step 7 was a little confusing to me. It went together well, smelled wonderful and even looked pretty. It is VERY sweet, though. All in all, it's a very nice recipe that makes a great holiday presentation. Thank you!
I tried out several butter toffee recipes to find one to give away as Christmas gifts this year. This one is by far the best of all! The toffee is buttery and crunchy, and the recipe is easy to make. The final temperature (290 f.) is much easier to reach without scorching than those that call for a 300 F. temp. I've now made batches of this with pecans, walnuts, and almonds, I've used milk chocolate and semi-sweet... all are delicious! Thanks for a great recipe... this one is going into the permanent file.
This was very easy to make and very delicious! I used chopped pecans instead of almonds. Worked wonderfully!
Make this for the holidays everyone. Barb this is really good and buttery. Next time I think I will forgo the almonds on the bottom but thats only my personal preference. Thanks Barb for posting!
