ingredients
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 1⁄3 cups butter, melted
- 2⁄3 cup peanut butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 8 cups quick oatmeal
- 1 1⁄2 cups chocolate chips
directions
- Mix syrup, sugar, butter, and oatmeal together until well blended. Press into cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes.
- In a bowl melt chips. Stir in peanut butter. Frost bars with the chocolate peanut butter mixture.

These were very good and very easy to make. After the 12 minute cooking time, they just didn't look done, so left them in for another 5 minutes until they were slightly brown. I should not have done that. They ended up slightly hard around the edges. There was a lot of icing but it was so good. Thanks for sharing this one. Made for SSC Pet Parade
