Toddler Baked Oatmeal

"My 2-yr old has always disliked oatmeal, so I thought I'd try a baked version - and he's eating it up today! He also has had an issue with gaining weight so I've fatted this version up - you can always use a lower fat milk, and even leave the oil out. Also, you could use 2 mashed bananas for the 1/2 cup of applesauce. I cut these into 8 strips and then wrap each one separately and put in fridge or freezer. They defrost easily in the microwave. You can also double the recipe and put in 8x8 pan."

 1. I used baby food peaches in place of applesauce, and butter instead of oil...

DELISH!

 2. My 14 month old really likes this! The only thing I changed was to use melted butter in place of the oil. Thanks for a good toddler recipe!

 3. Luckily, I realized this recipe was for toddlers and not adults, I didn't like it, but my kiddoes went nuts! My lil guys a bruiser, so I used 1% and omitted the oil.

 4. I used skim milk and omitted the oil as suggested and I did not care much for the result. I would have thought baked oatmeal would have been a little less soggy. The flavor was OK, but I will not make this one again.
