Toblerone Shortbread Cookies

"These are really yummy and I make them every year for the Christmas holidays. I especially like them stored in the fridge and eaten cold but they're great at room temp too!"

  1. Loved these little gems!!! I only made 1/4 of the recipe, which still resulted in 17 cookies. When I looked for the Toblerone at our store, I found a fruit and nut version, but looking behind that type, I found the original version and was well, lol!! My 19 yo DS just got home and gobbled down about 5 of them. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for ZWT 7.

  2. I do love a good shortbread, and these really fit the bill! Fab! And Toblerone, too! YUM! I did reduce the recipe by half, and using my cookie scoop, I made 38 cookies. I didn't press mine down either, and they turned out just great. YUM, again! Thanks for sharing, Babzy!

  4. Delicious little bites of yumminess! Light textured, buttery and flaky - great shortbread cookie. The base recipe could be used for any type of shortbread. I flattened mine out with the bottom of a glass instead of a fork. Made for ZWT 7.

  5. Perfect shortbread texture. I put them on an ungreased cookie sheet. There's really no need to dip the fork in the sugar as far as I could tell. Great little cookie! ZWT7
