"La Tire" is one of my favourite treats when I go to Quebec. Maple syrup on a stick, what's not to love? :)

Directions

  1. Bring the maple syrup to a boil in a large saucepan and simmer until it reaches 240°F on a candy thermometer.
  2. Pour in a thin stream over clean snow.
  3. Let set for a moment to begin to harden.
  4. Roll up on clean stick and eat.
