If I could give these 1,000 stars I would! This is the best way I've ever made sauteed mushrooms. I think I'll eat this EVERY day. Love it!

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 12 lb mushroom (any type, I use medium sized button mushrooms)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 ounce brandy


  1. Slice the mushrooms into fours.
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet.
  3. Add to the pan and sauté on high heat until soft for about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and carefully add the brandy to avoid flame ups.
  5. Return to the heat and cook until pan juices have slightly thickened.
  6. Serve warm.
