Found this tip in a newspaper..didn't quite believe it would work, till I tried it...managed to cook salmon without sticking or using foil...
- To keep seafood from sticking to the grill, slice a raw potato in half lengthwise.
- Once the grill is hot, slide the cut potato down the grill in one direction.
- The starch from the potato will coat the grill and make it non-stick!
This worked beautifully for plain salmon but not well for salmon coated with a barbecue sauce. I'll definitely use it again for plain meats though.
