      This was fun to make. It reminded me of going to the fair when we use to eat these all the time. Very easy and the boys just could not wait for them to be done to eat.

      Love funnel cakes! My only reason for going to craft fairs, and the kettle corn. Another tip is that you can get those plastic ketchup/mustard squeeze bottles and fill with batter and then squeeze out into the hot oil.

      I made this for the Zaar World Tour II 2006. I really enjoyed making these. It took some time figuring out how to get it to all stay together by just putting it into the grease but I managed it. These have a very good taste and you can definatly taste the vanilla. I will be making this again!! Enjoy yourself making and eating them!!

      This is a fun recipe and a really great one to do for kids!! It was very easy and quick, too. I let some of the ones I did get too thin and they got crispy, but the cakes/cookies I kept thick ended up very soft and really were very similar to cakes that you buy at the fair!! Thank you!! I suspect this will become a favorite at our house!!

      ok, these were a huge amount of fun...preparing...I've never had a funnel cake so Mike thought this recipe for sure had too be made! ummmmm Fried dough...covered in sugar...ok 10 stars!!!
