Tilapia With a Crispy Coating for One (Or More)

Easy fish dish with a double dip coating which produces a super crispy fish!
Ingredients:
1 (6 ounce)
tilapia fillets
1
egg
, beaten
½ cup
breadcrumbs
(seasoned)
Directions:

Pat fish dry then place in beaten egg, then in breadcrumbs, then back in eggs, then back in bread crumbs.

place in a 450 degree oven for 5 minutes, flip fish over and cook for 5 more minutes.

Used Italian seasoned breadcrumbs for this. It is a great basic recipe that can easily be adapted with different seasonings. I will be making this again and again. Thanks for posting!

This is definitely a quick & easy way to make fish. This would be great for a weeknight dinner; nothinbg fancy here but good basic food. I used seasoned breadcrumbs, and managed to cover two filets using the one egg. I think a little sauce over the top would be a great addition...though it wouldn't stay as healthy.
