      This is wonderful! I have made it 3 times now and will continue to make it. Even the fish haters in my family have tried it and liked it! I uploaded a couple of photos of tonights dinner. Garlic and olive oil sauteed spinach and couscous made a wonderful bed for the fish and sauce. We have had it with rice pilaf as well and like that better than the couscous because there is a little more flavor but ultimately it's the fish that makes this dish! YUM!

      Our family really enjoyed this tilapia -- very flavorful. I used 1 minced shallot instead of the scallions. I sauteed the shallot and garlic before returning the bacon to the sauce. We had no mushrooms on hand, so did not use them.

      This is soooo good and I'm not even a big fish person! We halved everything and it worked out great. However, we put the mushrooms in right away to get them a little more cooked.

      Very, very good! The bacon adds a nice flavor as does the lemon wine sauce. I forgot to saute the scallions so just scattered them over the top of the fish. Will also have to try this with shrimp! Thank you.
