A very chewy cookie with the goodness of wheat germ and chocolate chips that make this cookie a favourite of everyone

  1. Preheat oven to 375. F (190 C)
  2. Place all dry ingredients in a medium size bowl and set aside
  3. Put softened butter and sugar in a large bowl and cream together
  4. Add the 2 eggs and vanilla and beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 to 5 minutes or until well combined.
  5. Pour the dry ingredients slowly to the mixture and stir until all the flour is incorporated into the dough
  6. Stir in the wheat germ, walnuts, chocolate chips and oats and mix well until all the oats are mixed into the dough.
  7. Place a small amount of dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper 2 inches apart
  8. Bake for 10 minutes and then remove from the oven and place on a cooling rack.
