      This was my first time making anything with rhubarb... after a taste of the raw rhubarb, I had doubts, but I figured that with the strawberries and apples there was a higher probability of success than straight rhubarb. I trusted the other reviews and was not disappointed! Everyone loved it and I will try it again! Thanks so much for a great recipe. : )

      The rhubarb lovers in my family didn't even hesitate to give this a roaring 5 stars! The recipe title threw me since there's only one type of berry listed. I halved the recipe and baked it in a 2 qt. dish. Next time, I'll do as karen did and mix the melted butter with the dry topping ingredients. Some of the baked topping was dry and powdery, but it didn't stop these guys! Thanks DotM for a winner!

      I had a big gang for supper and tripled this recipe and used frozen fruit I had in my freezer - 5 cups easch apple, rhubarb and saskatoons plus 4 cups each raspberries and blueberries for total of 23 cups fruit. Also added 1 tsp or so of vanilla as per some other recipes. When I made the topping I added the melted butter directly to the dry ingredients then sprinkled on top. Bubbly hot out of the oven with ice cream and my gang were happy!!
