  1. Cook bacon over medium heat until soft but not crispy. Drain all but 1 tbsp of fat.
  2. Add onion and garlic and cook over med-high heat, stirring until onion is soft.
  3. Stir in chili powder and cook for 30 secs.
  4. Stir in beans, tomatoes and broth, bring to a boil and turn heat to med low, simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Season with salt.
