This N' That Cookies

"A recipe that includes a little of everything! Yummy! Given to me by someone at church. Before you start the recipe, please note that it makes a LOT of cookies--9 dozen! This recipe also needs to chill overnight (very important--not included in prep times)Great if you need a cookie recipe for a bake sale or to feed a crowd."

 1. My coworkers loved this recipe - it made tons of cookies - I didn't get 108, but I did get alot! The dough keeps beautifully in the refrigerator too - I'll be making this again. Thanks for the recipe 2/29/08 - made this cookie today using butterscotch chips in place of the raisins and heath bar bits in place of the nuts - I also used a combination of white - milk chocolate and semi-sweet chips instead of just one kind - these were awesome too!! I've also made them using cranraisins instead of raisins - fabulous recipe!!

I currently live in West Virginia. I have two daughters, 10 and 7 yrs. I teach 4th grade at the small elementary school that they attend.

Shortly before the birth of my youngest daughter, I started becoming interested in cooking, with great thanks to this site. I love trying new things. I used to collect cookbooks, and I still have quite a few, but since I've been a member of food.com, I have to admit that I don't use them much anymore. This is so much easier!

In addition to cooking, I enjoy spending time with my girls, reading, and shopping. I'm also a big Virginia Tech fan, hence my user name. It's where I went to school, so my loyalty lives on!
