  1. Fantastic! I have made this 4 times since Thanksgiving less than one month ago and it has been a grand slam hit every time! One of the great things about this recipe is that it is VERY customizable. For instance I excluded the mushrooms when I knew several guests didn't like them. I changed to Velveeta Mexican instead of Pepper Jack. The last time I made it I was in an extreme rush so I cooked it as instructed, but all in one pot on the stovetop instead of a crock pot which took me only 25-30 minutes total and I was out the door.

  2. Not the most attractive dip, but very tasty. Has a good kick to it.

  3. This was a great twist on the original Velveeta dip! I used recipe #12818 for the hot sausage for extra kick. We omitted the mushroom and olives due to personal taste but what a gem of a dip you have!! My son and I made it to go with lunch. Definitely a keeper!! Thank you, itsnevrenough!

  4. This is good stuff! LOL! DH and I really liked this. The only change I made was to use mild sausage instead of hot. DH has had surgery and he cannot eat the spicy foods that he once could. It had a nice tang from the Rotel tomatoes. Good cheesy dip and word to the wise, if having a party with lots of people, I would probably double this depending on the amount of other foods served. This is going in my Sports Time cookbook! Thanks itsnevrenough!
