Fantastic! I have made this 4 times since Thanksgiving less than one month ago and it has been a grand slam hit every time! One of the great things about this recipe is that it is VERY customizable. For instance I excluded the mushrooms when I knew several guests didn't like them. I changed to Velveeta Mexican instead of Pepper Jack. The last time I made it I was in an extreme rush so I cooked it as instructed, but all in one pot on the stovetop instead of a crock pot which took me only 25-30 minutes total and I was out the door.people found this review Helpful. This was a great twist on the original Velveeta dip! I used Chorizo for the hot sausage for extra kick. We omitted the mushroom and olives due to personal taste but what a gem of a dip you have!! My son and I made it to go with lunch. Definitely a keeper!! Thank you, itsnevrenough!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... This is good stuff! LOL! DH and I really liked this. The only change I made was to use mild sausage instead of hot. DH has had surgery and he cannot eat the spicy foods that he once could. It had a nice tang from the Rotel tomatoes. Good cheesy dip and word to the wise, if having a party with lots of people, I would probably double this depending on the amount of other foods served. This is going in my Sports Time cookbook! Thanks itsnevrenough!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you?
