    Got this from my Canadian parenting site. Poor man's stew :) It's still nice and thick, but used hamburger instead of more expensive cuts of meat.

      Brown hamburger.

      Combine all ingredients and place in crock pot.

      Cook on low for 8 hours.

      If you want thicker "gravy" add a little corn starch.

      Reminded me of the beef stew that comes out of a can, my DH loved it! My cans of soup were also larger than the ones specified, so I added additional water. I thought it was thick enough without the cornstarch, thanks for super quick meal!

      Was a hit in my house, had more peeps to feed so I added more soup, had to use more cream of chicken and tomato soup, the last 30 min. I added tiny pasta.

      This was really good. Thick & hardy. I added a few mushrooms and some celery since I had them on hand and thought they would work well with the dish. Cornstarch was not necessary. I'm always looking for good crockpot recipes and I will make this again. Thanks for the great recipe!
