I have been married for 5 years and am expecting baby #1 in just 4 weeks. My husband's mother and grandmother are great cooks. My husband told me just before we were married that I needed to go over to his mother's house so that she can teach me how to make all of his favourite foods. I told him he is going to have to have new favorites from now on. That's why I'm constantly surfing these recipe sites for new ideas, to dazzle him and leave the memories of his mother's cooking in the dust. My favorite cookbook is a family favorite:The Fanny Farmer Cookbook. I am interested in getting The Mennonite community Cookbook. Right now I am working out of a pink melamine kitchen...very attractive. i am looking forward to our reno, whenever that may be.
