This recipe made me join this site officially.

I made these cookies with my kids one weekend afternoon so we could surprise mom when she came home. They are (were) phenomenal.

Only issue I had with the recipe was the qty of chocolate chips it called for. I only had 1 bag which was 1.5 cups rather than 3. If I would have added any more than that there would have been way too many.

I did add chopped hazelnuts as well so that might have been why. So, if you add nuts cut down on the chips!

This was a very well behaved recipe. The dough came together nicely and if you cook them until they appear to still be slightly underdone the cookies are nice and chewy in the centres. I agree that you can't taste the Nutella, but it does make them a pretty colour. I used a 1/4 cup scoop to measure them and got 15 cookies.

I made these cookies and they came out really well. They don't really taste like Nutella though, but the Nutella adds a nice tang to them. My record with making chocolate chip cookies is usually dismal - they never come out soft enough or they taste bitter. But these came out great. I used an ice-cream scoop and patted it down a little and they made 18 cookies, perfect big size. I also live at 5000 feet altitude and didn't have to adjust the recipe at all.

My kids love Nutella so I had to make these. I tried the method of rolling the dough into a ball etc., but it didn't work well for me so I just resorted to making them into drop cookies. I baked for 16 minutes but they turned out too crisp for us. I would try to make this recipe again, and pull them out of the oven sooner. Also, I used only 1 1/4 cups of choc chips and that was more than enough. Thx for sharing!

One of my friends sent me this recipe, and I had been waiting for the right opportunity to use it. A Memorial Day pool party seemed like the right occasion, and these were a HIT! I love hazelnut and chocolate, and these came out beautifully. Like Lanagirl, I was alarmed at how dry the dough was, but the cookies turned out perfect, moist and tasty. I definitely second the recommendation of hazelnuts. 5 stars all around -- this recipe is easy and delicious. Also, 13 minutes was enough cook time for average sized cookies.

I made these yesterday, I doubled the recipe and did not use any nuts. Don't be alarmed at how dry the dough seems, I was a bit concerned but they turned out great. Thanks for posting, these are a nice change for the usual cookie flavors.
