these burgers were amazing!!! my husband loved them!! he is a huge white castle fan, but we live about an hour from the closest one, so he was thrilled when i made these!! i used full sized buns because our grocery store didn't have smaller ones, but they were still fantastic. thank you for this recipe!!

Very yummy little burgers! Easy to lower fat grams with 2% Velveeta & low fat burger too. I'll definitely make them again. I wanted more of a burger than a sloppy joe type sandwich, so I softened the cheese & mixed it and the onion soup (I used
Lipton's Beefy Onion) into the raw burger, made patties, smashed them as flat as possible, then browned both sides. I popped them in the oven for about 25 minutes. The buns were slightly more crispy than I liked so next time I'll seal them better with aluminum foil.. Wonderful little meal!

Phenomenal sliders! Very oniony, but tasty. My grocery store had the half-sized buns, and they worked out great. These are not quite a White Castle, but what is. They are great little burgers tho, and I'll be making them again. Followed Meggy Boo's review and just did the cookie sheet lined with foil and covered them as well before baking to save some labor. Used the Velveeta shreds and it turned out great. I thank you, and my husband really thanks you for sharing your recipe.

I've never been to a White Castle, so I can't say how these compare. I have ate the frozen kind and I think these are very close. Whether they are just like White Castle or not, these are just plain good in their own right. My husband and my two teenage sons really, really liked them! When they tell mem I can make something again, I know I've found a winner. This recipe will go into my rotations. Thanks for posting it!

I made these quite a few months ago and never rated them. I just forgot to. Well I have 3 co workers coming over for lunch today. I am updating some computers and adding new software, so I will be at home. I told them I would make lunch. I figured these might be fun. Last time I made them I wasn't too fond of the Velveeta, but it did hold the recipe together well, so I will probably use it again. Minced up the onion very fine is important too. I had no problem finding the pepperidge farm rolls, but I may try a potato roll today. They taste somewhat like White Castle, but not exactly, but they are easy and quite tasty. I will definitely make on hand for a very quick easy snack or dinner. I did wrap 6 in one piece of foil and it worked very good. The buns steamed nicely which is what you want. One of the guys last time used ketchup, I didn't, but we will see what everyone wants today. They are easy and quick and although not really like White Castle, very very tasty. A few fries and leftover potato salad from yesterday. I would recommend these for a quick easy, tasty snack, lunch of dinner. Thx

Yummy! These were delicious. I usually don't get Castle burgers too often (thats what we had in New Orleans). I love them and try to get them when I go visit. These tasted just like them to me especially with the pickle and mustard, which i did not put on until we were about to eat. I followed the recipe exactly. My grocery store had potato rolls which are almost exactly like the white castle buns. Hubby loved them. Will definately make again and again. I'm so glad I came across this recipe.
