directions

  • Add all ingredients to 1 quart thermos that has been heated with additional boiling water. Seal and tilt jar for 15 minutes. This stays warm for 24 hours in a glass or metal thermos, so it can be made in the morning for lunch or dinner. Egg noodles would hold up better during longer "cooking" times.

  1. 2,200 calories? Must be a mistype.

  2. I had a quick question - the spaghetti is placed dry in the thermos? Thanks! I would love to try it for my son's lunch but want to ensure that I make it correct :) If this works, I will give it 5 stars for simplicity as well. Thanks!

  3. Heck, I'm giving this recipe 5 stars for the sheer simplicity! It also happens to taste really great, too. :) I don't know why I have never thought of doing this before. Soup with no stove cooking? Yes please. Thank you for a fun lunch idea!

Married mother of twins. I very seldom ever use recipes as they are written, always modifying and adjusting them. Many times I will take three or four different recipes and come up with a new recipe based on those. <img src="http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e347/Saturn6666/KiwiDutch/3chefstag1.jpg">
