The Worlds Best Barbecue Sauce

"This sauce is great for chicken or ribs, and can even be used in place of ketchup on your fries and burgers. It's really good for making chicken wings. I'm sure this sauce could be used in a lot of other dishes and recipes; just use your imagination. It is sweet with a bit of zip. It keeps well in the refrigerator."

  1. This is a really good recipe to have on hand. Goes well with beef, chicken - whatever. I poured the leftovers into the empty ketchup bottle. Thanks for posting!

  2. This fast became my new recipe for bbq sauce. What a great flavored sauce! We had on bbq ribs on the grill and brought them inside to eat. Everybody agreed this one is now tops with us. Thanks for sharing Diana!

  3. Thank you! I had no store-bought Bar-B-Que sauce except for a few tablespoons in the bottom of one jar. This recipe stretched it and even the picky family members thought it was just a fresh jar I found in the cupboard!

  4. Thanks Diana for posting this blissfuly easy & great barbeque sauce! Now I know us Limeys don't know much about barbeques....we seldom have the weather, but I know enough to say that this was brilliant! And anyway, I now live in SUNNY South West France where we barbeque all Summer!! The first time I made it, I added some Salt Lick barbeque sauce that a friend gave me, who comes from Austin Texas: I am hanging on to that now as she is not back for a few months! So I added some salsa & some Maggi seasoning instead & it was still excellent! I thought it was about time I reviewed this sauce as this is my third time of making it. I added some Peach jam to it today for glazing some pork fillets........wow, really fantastic!! I might even submit that idea as it was pure ambrosia!! Great & SIMPLE recipe, Thanks!! 5. This is truly a wonderful sauce. We've made it twice now and the whole family loves it. The only thing we did different is heat up the sauce to a boil and then simmer all day long.
