I've had these bars tagged for so long and finally took the time to whip them up today for DH's lunchbox treats. I halved the recipe and used a 9x13 pan, so the bars were a little thinner than were supposed to be, but that's okay because these are super peanut-buttery! DH thinks these are just like the public school peanut butter bars and for as easy as they were to make, I'm sure I'll be making these many more times in the future- try these bars!! Edit: I did not try to pb icing as we didn't remember ours having it in the past. Thanks!
