The Punch Coco!

Slightly different from another coconut punch, this has grenadine to give it color and extra flavor. Simple and cooling..but be careful it has a kick. Taken from Cooking with AAF: King Creole...of the Sunny Islands

• Prep Time: 5 mins
• Cook Time: 0 mins

Ingredients:

Servings: 2

• 4 ounces white rum
• 2 dashes grenadine
• 2 tablespoons coconut milk
• crushed ice

Directions:

1. Mix all ingredients well,.
2. Serve over crushed ice.
3. Repeat until you have trouble measuring :).

Great sweet and smooth drink! Very girly with the coconut flavor and lovely pink color :) I used 1 T lowfat milk and 1 T coconut cream (Coco Lopez) instead of coconut milk. Loved this - thanks for sharing the recipe!

Phew! Thanks MarraMamba for this recipe. My first sip went hand-in-hand with my first words afterwards- YUUUUUM!!!!! It does have quite a good kick. I had to use spiced gold rum instead of white rum, and it gave the drink a slightly vanilla flavour. Really good taste, except I only like to have a small amount at a time. The drink burns a little too much for me after more than a shot. I think I'll make it again though! 1st few sips= 5 stars, after that went down to 4.
