The Peckham Peach Palouser

"During summer school, our class creates recipes for smoothies. Each recipe is named after our favorite people. Since we also study weather, the drink is also named after a weather event. A palouser is a strong dangerous wind that blows into the Palouse River Valley. It is also known as a Cow-Killer."

  1. There is a discrepency between the ingredient list and the redipe steps. In the ingredient list, there are no strawberries listed but in the recipe steps,(step #5) it states to add strawberries. I made this without the strawberries. It was ok. I thought the banana overpowered the peaches but maybe I had underripe peaches.

All about North Haven by the A5A students. North Haven is a better place than New York City because it's hardly busy. The North Haven Fair is the best. One of us works at the chowder booth. We like the fair for the games, the rides and the food. The fair is every September on the weekend after Labor Day. There is a Memorial Day Parade on the Saturday before Memorial Day. Connecticut's army is in the parade. Also, in the parade are the North Haven Veterans of World War II. In the summer, we go to the concerts on the Town Green. We bring camping chairs, buy food and listen to the music. We all like going to the movies at the Showcase Cinemas. There is also a great dog groomer located in the center of the town.
