This is a simple, mild sun tea which is served cold. Add a slice of lemon at the table if you wish.
- Pour the tap water into a gallon jar for which you have a lid.
- Drape the teabags into the water and cover with the lid.
- Set the tea outside where the sun will hit it for 8 hours.
- At the end of the 8 hours, squeeze and remove the teabags, add the sugar and stir until it is dissolved.
- Refrigerate for 3 hours prior to serving.
