Questions & Replies

  1. Wow, I'd really like to try this but I don't understand how some people think it's spot on and some way off. It does read like a lot of cumin, jerk, and pepper. I've never tried it at the restaurant. Is it supposed to pack a wallop, or just be flavorful?

  1. Made this for Christmas Eve 2021 and our family loved it. So much flavor, especially in the vegetables. We served Chicken…muah! Perfection!

  2. No, this is just wrong. WAY too much cumin and WAY too much pepper. Overwhelming and awful. Maybe 2 teaspoons?

  3. Use less pepper and jerk if you want it to be less "spicy". I personally love a lot of pepper and flavor so I was all about that flavor.

  4. I've had this at Melting Pot, but this version is SO peppery that it is hardly palpable. There was so much spice going on that ruined our dinner.
