Fabulous, just love the Guacamole dressing and will be using this as a dip in the near future. For any Aussies/Kiwi's I substituted the chipotle in adobo with 1 tablespoon of ketchup mixed with 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke and a teaspoon of jarred pickled jalapenos. For the chili powder in the burger mix I used a dried chipotle powder that I purchased online in Australia. The result was a fabulous, smoky, flavoursome burger. Well done Kitchen Tourists.

Fabulous says it all. We only used the hamburger and the guacamole (both exactly as prescribed) and it was plenty spicy enough for us. Served the hamburger on the plate with a simple spinach salad and let each person add the guacamole sauce as desired. By leaving out the bun and cheese, we saved some calories and the mess of the guacamole squeezing out.

This was a great burger. I didn't have monterey jack cheese so just used American instead. I also added more chipotle peppers than the recipe called for. This was a great way to start the grillin' season off! I will definitely make these again!

Great burger. As others have said, the dressing makes this. I used less chili powder to cater for our heat sufferers. Chipotle chiles do not exist in Australia, so I followed Jewelies hint. Made and enjoyed for Zaar World Tour.

We really enjoyed this burger. I made as specified and 2 yr old ate just the burger, cheese, and bun dipped in ketchup. DH and I made as written. I usually don't like things to spicy and the canned pickled jalapenos definitely made it spicy, but I still enjoyed it. My DH thought the cilantro in the guac made the burger. My only change would be to eliminate the oregano next time as it created a bit of an aftertaste for me.

I wanted to love this burger, but DH and I just liked it. We put our dressing (delicious) on the bottom of the bun and the result was almost too messy to eat. For some reason I wasn't thrilled about the seasonings in the burger because it tasted more like a taco than a burger. When I try this again, I will use some different spices in the burger, if any. The dressing makes this burger.

*LOVED IT* Seriously, this is an awesome burger. I accidentally added a tad too much chili powder, but that wasn't too serious. The Guacamole is pure genius! I could have eaten it with a spoon it was so tastey. Next time I may add a bit more chipotle. I used a thick slice of sharp white cheddar for the cheese. I think the jalapenos really completed this burger. Everything went together so nicely that I would not leave anything out when making it. Thanks for sharing. Nick's Mom

4 stars 'cos I could not get all the ingredients here in Australia so I really could not make it as true to the recipe as I would have liked e.g. there are no chipotles to be seen in this city and for hot sauce I used tabasco - but it did taste terrific and the vegetarians even tried a bit !! It was very easy to prepare - I put the guacamole on the roll and again on top of the meat and it was delicious - so my congrats to the Kitchen Tourists !!

I loved this. With the creamy spicy dressing and the perfectly seasoned patties. The only change was I used baby spinach in place of the lettuce. I did serve it with the spread on the bottom But highly suggest it on top of the burger. This was messy and finger licking Great!

A 5 star winner for sure. I modified it slightly to our tastes, added onion into the meat mixture & served with caramelized onions & capsicums, used crushed chilli in place of chipotle. It may be just an Aussie thing but I think that the addition of tomato salsa, sauce or chutney would be a nice touch too but great just the same!
