- 6 pork chops
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons pepper
- 4 cups oil
- 1 sliced onion
- 3 cups water

- Mix flour with salt and pepper.
- Dip each pork chop in water.
- Dredge with flour until covered.
- Place in skillet of preheated oil, and cook on medium heat until golden brown, pour all oil from skillet, except 1/4 C.
- Place pork chops back in skillet with onions.
- Add water and simmer until gravy is thick.
