I got a list of milkshakes from my friend the nutritionist. I made this alot last summer, because with a whole cantaloup you can actually make several. You can also make this into popsicles as well.
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- 1 1⁄2 cups cantaloupes, cut into large chunks
- 2 tablespoons grenadine
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 ice cube (optional)
- Put all ingredients into a mixer, blender or other container to liquify.
- Serve cold.
Easy to make. Be sure to use very ripe cantaloupes. I think mine was not ripe enough, it could have used more cantaloupe flavor. Even so, this was very good and very pretty too. Next time I make it, I'll freeze them into popsicles. That's a great option! Thanks Studentchef.
