- 1 cup butter, softened
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
directions
- Preheat oven to 350F and butter/flour a 12-cup Bundt pan.
- Combine butter and cream cheese in a large bowl; beat until fluffy.
- Add sugar; beat five minutes.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Sift dry ingredients together; add to batter and mix well.
- Pour into prepared pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until cake tests done.
- Cool in pan 25 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely on cooling rack.
