Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 lb jimmy dean maple sausage
  • 14 cup vegetable oil
  • 12 cup flour
  • 3 -4 cups milk
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Brown maple sausage in large skillet. Drain but keep grease and crumbs in skillet. Set the sausage aside. Add vegetable oil and flour. Stir constantly over medium high heat until light brown. Slowly add 3 cups of milk stirring while adding. Add more milk to make consistency you desire. Add salt and pepper. (We prefer garlic salt.) Add sausage back in and serve over biscuits while hot.
