Delicious salad and a great way to use lentils. I especially loved the addition of the cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves as they really added a wonderful flavor to this salad. I used green onion vs. the red as I was out and I took the advice of one of the reviewers and added some feta, toasted nuts and served the lentils on some arugula. Added a few extra dried cranberries just because I love them so much in salads. Will definitely make this salad again for sure. Made for PRMR, January, 2014.

This is a really easy and tasty lentil salad. It is sweet, tangy and salty. I added feta cheese, walnuts and arugula, but only half the onions and 34 of the lentils. The vinegrette is fun to put together and is easily done while the lentils are cooking. It's a keeper.

This salad is so yummy. The maple syrup adds a nice sweetness. Great blends of spices. I used brown lentils but I guess any lentils would be great. Thanks rpgaymer :) Made for PRMR tag game

This was the best lentil salad I ever had. Spices and sweetness of cranberries complimented one another. I just happened to have all the spices so I didn't have to buy any. I put in less olive oil and used a sweet mirin instead of maple syrup because I didn't have any. Probably would have been better with maple syrup. Oh well. Did not add anything else, and definitely no cheese because we're trying to go vegan. I'm going to try some toasted walnuts next time. Thank you!

Loved this salad! It has all the flavor I'm looking for in a lentil salad. I am thinking about what else to put in here. Lots of ideas. Thanks!

The best lentil salad I've ever had! Honestly this was my first lentil salad as I've only tried lentils in hot dishes. I used less salt and less red onion (and it was still lots of onion). Very tasty!

This was awesome. I happened to have all the ingredients so it was super easy. I added rice and orzo b/c I didn't have enough lentil. Used pre-cooked packages of black beluga lentils and brown basmati rice. Adding raw spinach would be nice I think. Definitely a keeper!
