This is my favorite pancake recipe. I got it years ago, not sure where. I will never use a pancake mix again!! It's wonderful with real Ohio maple syrup.

  1. Combine buttermilk and egg.
  2. Add dry ingredients and mix until blended.
  3. Add butter.
  4. Pour onto hot griddle. Flip when bubbles start to break and edges appear dry.
  5. (If I don't happen to have buttermilk, you can sour milk by adding 1 tsp of lemon juice and letting it sit for 15 minute or so.).
