The name says it all. The meat must marinate for at least 24 hours prior to cooking. Thank you Sheryl for the recipe. Based on a recent review to clarify the tomato sauce is tomato ketchup not puree.

This is extremely tasty. I cooked on a roasting rack very slowly in our covered BBQ and ended up with a very tender leg of lamb. I wasn't sure what type of chutney to use so I just used a fruit chutney and I also wasn't sure if the chef meant Australian tomato sauce (which is what I used) and not puree. Unfortunatley the chef doesn't accept private messages so I couldn't email to find out. Thanks Wendy's Kitchen for sharing this very tasty recipe.

  1. Marinate at least for 1 day.
  2. Best on BBQ slowly cooked over a low flame for a few hours.
  3. Or you can bake in the oven at 180 Degrees C for about 1 1/2 hours or longer.
  4. Absolutely delicious.
