The Best Baby Back Ribs

This is the very best recipe for ribs that I have ever had. The sauce is a very wonderful compliment to these tender, fall off the bone ribs. Everyone that has them wants the recipe. Don't let all the ingredients fool you. It is very easy to make. These are sure to be a big hit!

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. Place ribs bone side down in a large roasting pan on a rack (if you have one, you don't have to use rack)
  2. Combine garlic powder, seasoning salt, and pepper. Sprinkle over the ribs. Top with sliced onions. Cover tightly and bake at 350 for 2 1/2 hours.
  3. In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and this is your sauce.
  4. Remove ribs from pan, remove onions and discard, and drain fat. Put ribs back in pan and brush ribs liberally with sauce. Cover and bake 25 minutes longer. Uncover and cook 5 more minutes. Serve with remaining sauce.
  5. You can reduce the amount of ribs if you are cooking for a smaller group. I usually use 2 racks to serve 4.

Yummy ribs. Great flavor and so moist and tender. Thanks Kitty 2 for sharing your recipe. Made for Best of 2010 Tag.

These REALLY are the best baby back ribs. DH and I both just couldn't get enough of them. I made as posted including using the sweet chili sauce by maggi. I now need to go get more. I love that stuff. These really do fall off the bone in fact mine cooked for 2 hours and it was time to put on the sauce. Next time I plan to put foil in the bottom of my pan to prevent the difficult clean up task. This is going in my best of 2010 cookbook. Thanks for posting. :)

They were falling off the bones good. We used regular salt instead of seasoned salt because that was what was on hand. We used Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce instead of the recipe, and the ribs were fantastic.
