these came out PERFECT! the only thing i 'messed up' on was when i was measuring (yes, i do occasionally measure) I discovered that my teaspoon was actually a half tablespoon!! Oh well!! The consistency is perfect, the flavor is outstanding....I am one happy camper right now!!! Made for ZWT7 Swiss challenge Jacques Bakery. :)
This was good but mine did not turn out like a traditional brownie at all. It looked like a brownie, but as soon as you bit into it, it had a bread-like consistency. It wasn't sweet like a brownie either. That might be how it's suppose to be, but I definitely would preface it when serving to anyone who is expecting a traditional brownie. Also, when it was cooking, there was a lot of butter pooling at the top of the brownies. I'm not sure if this is due to an error on my part, or just how the recipe is. In any case, I did really enjoy the flavor and would make this again. It would probably be good in a trifle, or served alongside some bananas as a breakfast treat.
